Rs. 5 Lac Scholarship Announced for Brilliant Indian Students to Study at UCL

UCL (University College London) has announced a new scholarship scheme to enable 100 of India's brightest students to study in the UK at one of the world's leading universities. The scholarship scheme, called the UCL India Excellence Scholarships, will provide Rs. 5 lac towards the tuition fees of Master's students from India. A total of 33 scholarships will be available for the 2024-25 academic year, with a further 67 scholarships to be awarded in the following two years.

How will the Rs. 5 lac provided by the UCL India Excellence Scholarships financially support Indian students pursuing their Master's degree at UCL?

To be eligible for a scholarship, students must have, or be on track to achieve, a first-class degree in their undergraduate studies. They must also be able to demonstrate a strong academic record and a commitment to their chosen field of study.

UCL is also launching its first ever Summer School in India, which will be held at the campus of The British School in New Delhi from 10-14 June 2024. The summer school will provide pre-university Indian students with a taste of what it's like to study at a world-leading UK university.

The summer school will be open to students from all disciplines and will offer a range of courses, including lectures, seminars, and workshops. Students will also have the opportunity to meet with UCL academics and current students.
