The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) is gearing up to launch the PM Internship Scheme 2024 registration process, aimed at offering invaluable internship opportunities to young professionals across India. Interested candidates can apply directly through the official website: pminternship.mca.gov.in. This flagship program will provide exposure to real-life business environments in top companies, ensuring youth gain practical experience for up to 12 months. The government has set an ambitious goal of offering one crore internships over the next five years, with 1.25 lakh opportunities targeted for the 2024-25 fiscal year.

Eligibility Criteria for PM Internship Scheme 2024

Candidates aspiring to join the PM Internship Scheme 2024 must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Passed High School, Higher Secondary School, ITI certification, Polytechnic diploma, or be graduates with degrees such as BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BCA, BBA, B.Pharma, etc.
• Age: Must be aged between 21 to 24 years as of the last date for application submission.
• Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
• Employment Status: The applicant should not be employed full-time or pursuing full-time education. Candidates enrolled in online or distance education programs are eligible to apply.

Monthly Stipend

Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹5000/- during the 12-month internship period. The breakdown includes ₹4500 from the government and ₹500 from the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) fund.

4. The portal will auto-generate a resume based on the information provided.
5. Candidates can apply for up to 5 internships, selecting preferences for location, sector, functional roles, and qualifications.
