During the event, over 650 players from various Sainik Schools across the country competed in various competitions.
According to him, every tenth soldier recruited into the Indian Army is from Haryana.
The state opened its second Sainik School in Rewari district in 2008, and another is under construction in Matanhail, Jhajjar, with 61 acres of land set aside for this purpose in 2021.
He emphasized the discipline and dedication that sports instill as fundamental characteristics. Khattar also emphasized how athletic events give athletes a stage on which to display their skills and foster understanding amongst people with different backgrounds, worldviews, and lifestyles—all of which support national cohesion.
He stated that the government has actively promoted a sports culture in order to position Haryana as a sporting superpower. According to Khattar, the state has spent in establishing superb sports infrastructure at all levels.
According to the CM, the remarkable achievement of female cadets taking part for the first time confirms the state's dedication to women's empowerment in keeping with the "Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao" plan.
According to him, the motto "Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan, Jai Pahalwan" holds great significance in Haryana as it highlights the bravery and power of farmers, wrestlers, and soldiers—all of whom make significant contributions to the state.
According to Khattar, Indian athletes won 30 of the 107 medals that India won in the just-ended Asian Games in China, demonstrating the country's outstanding performance. He continued, "Haryana has been greatly honored by this tremendous achievement."
