Description
Established in 1992 by Dr. Ishari K Ganesh, M.Com, MBA, B.L, (M.L), Ph.D, a visionary and distinguished educationist, Vaels Educational Trust was founded in loving memory of his father, Shri. Ishari Velan, a former minister of the Tamil Nadu Government. The fundamental mission of Vaels Educational Trust is to create pathways for learning, empowering individuals to attain self-reliance.
The University
Recognizing the significant contributions of the Vels Group of Institutions, the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India (GOI), has bestowed university status upon them. Supported by the VAELS Trust, the university is dedicated to molding individuals into versatile professionals and accomplished human beings, fostering the development of Knowledge, Skills, and Attitude (KSA). It also instills a passion for national service and development. The university operates under the guidance of a proficient and qualified board, including members from the University Grants Commission (UGC) and various domains of knowledge and institutions. This diverse board features individuals from various industries, sectors, and notable figures outside academia, alongside senior officials and renowned academicians.
