Description
The establishment of Singhania University can be attributed to the Government of Rajasthan, acting under Ordinance 6 of 2007. The institution holds recognition from the University Grants Commission (UGC) in accordance with Section 2f of the UGC Act 1956.
Situated in Pacheri Bari, District Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan, along the Delhi-Narnaul Singhana-Pilani Road, Singhania University finds itself approximately 160 kilometers west of Delhi and about 165 kilometers north of Jaipur. Accessible both by rail and road, the nearest railway stations are Narnaul (19 kilometers away) and Chirawa (45 kilometers away).
Nestled on a 30-acre expanse, the campus boasts a picturesque setting that is far removed from the hustle and bustle of urban life. The tranquil surroundings of the hilly terrain provide an ideal backdrop for academic pursuits and research.
Singhania University owes its existence to the vision of Smt. Narmada Devi Singhania, the mother of its founder, Shri D.C. Singhania.
