Sardar Bhagwan Singh Post Graduate Institute of Biomedical Sciences & Research, located in Balawala, Dehradun, from 1994 to 2018, held a pioneering position in the realm of Biomedical Sciences. This institution was not only a trailblazer in Uttarakhand but across the entire Northern Region. Since its establishment in 1994, the Institute remained unwavering in its commitment to elevate academic standards.
The Institute's inception was the realization of the visionary dream of its Founder Director, Sardar Gurcharan Singh Ji. His aspiration was to make this region self-sufficient in higher education. Through the dedication of exceptional faculty, motivated students, efficient management, and a sprawling campus spanning over 1.5 lakh square feet, SBSPGI achieved remarkable success
