Description
The Central Sanskrit University holds a remarkable position as the world's largest and sole multi-campus language university. Furthermore, it enjoys the distinction of being the primary body responsible for executing Sanskrit-related policies and government schemes in India. In this role, the university maintains a close working relationship with the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
Notably, the President of India serves as the Visitor of the University, while the Chancellor of the University is the Union Minister in charge of the Education Ministry within the Government of India. Presently, Prof. Shrinivasa Varakhedi holds the position of Vice Chancellor at the University.
