Guided by the profound philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi, who believed that "In a gentle way, you can shake the world," MGM embarked on its educational journey in 1982. Under the visionary leadership of former Education Minister Shri Kamalkishore Kadam and a dedicated group of founding members, all of whom were ardent academicians, the MGM Educational Trust was established.
The trust's inaugural institution was strategically located in the historically rich city of Chh. Sambhajinagar, renowned for its heritage sites of Ajanta & Ellora but lacking premier educational establishments. Over the span of more than four decades, the Mahatma Gandhi Mission has set a precedent for academic excellence and state-of-the-art healthcare services.
