Description
The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) plays a crucial role in overseeing and administering two of the most widely taken exams in the state: the 10th and 12th Board exams in Madhya Pradesh, held annually. It was established to facilitate the smooth operation of Secondary Education in Madhya Pradesh in accordance with the M.P. Madhyamik Shiksha Adhiniyam, 1965. In addition to its examination duties, the MPBSE is responsible for granting affiliation and recognition to schools throughout the state, as well as developing and creating courses, curricula, and textbooks for students from classes 1 to 12.
The 10th and 12th class examinations take place in March each year, with over 12 lakh students participating in the MP Board exams. The MPBSE typically releases the results for the 10th class exams, achieving an overall pass percentage of 61.36%, while the 12th class exam results are typically announced in May.
