The parent organization of Krea University, known as IFMR Society, was established in 1970 as a nonprofit entity with a distinct focus on research, training, and education within the realms of macro and micro economics, finance, and management, including the operation of a comprehensive business school.
Founded in 1970, IFMR Society was created as a nonprofit institution with the primary mission of delivering research-based insights to both industries and governmental bodies in the fields of finance and economics. It enjoyed sponsorship from prominent entities such as the former ICICI Ltd, the House of Kotharis, and other significant industrial conglomerates, marking a pioneering initiative in Asia.
