Jharkhand Rai University (JRU) came into being through the "Jharkhand Rai University Act, 2011," passed by the Jharkhand State Legislature in accordance with section 2(f) of the UGC Act 1956. It proudly holds membership in the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and is distinguished as an ISO 9001:2015 certified institution. Notably, JRU stands as the sole private university in the state of Jharkhand with UGC approval and accreditation from NAAC.
