Description

Jain Vishva Bharati Institute (JVBI) is dedicated to delivering the highest quality educational services, ensuring utmost satisfaction for students while providing them with an opportunity to foster an integrated personality imbued with spirituality and moral values.

Founded in Ladnun, District Deedwana-Kuchaman, Rajasthan, under the inspiration of Gurudev Tulsi, JVBI received recognition as a Deemed-to-be University by the Government of India in 1991, under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956. The institute is situated on the common campus of its parent organization, Jain Vishva Bharati. Gurudev Shri Tulsi served as its inaugural constitutional Anushasta (moral and spiritual guide), succeeded by Acharya Shri Mahaprajna, and presently, Acharya Mahashraman holds the role of Anushasta.

The institute's overarching objective, articulated in the Preamble of its Constitution (Memorandum and Articles of Association), is as follows:

"The Jain Vishva Bharati Institute is a dedicated effort to implement, promote, and propagate the lofty ideals of Anekant, Ahimsa, Tolerance, and Peaceful Co-existence for the well-being of humanity. As members of Jain Vishva Bharati, we resolve to establish this University for Advanced Studies, Research & Training in Jainology, emphasizing comparative studies in Indology, World Religions, Ahimsa, and World Peace."
