These responsibilities encompass defining academic curricula, authoring textbooks, and overseeing the administration of examinations for secondary school students within Uttarakhand. The board also plays a pivotal role in declaring results for board examinations.
Established in the year 2001, UBSE has its headquarters situated in Ramnagar. Currently, it maintains affiliations with a vast network of over 10,000 schools across the state. Annually, the board sets up more than 1,300 examination centers to accommodate the examination needs of over 300,000 students.
