Bhartiya Shiksha Parishad

Bhartiya Shiksha Parishad U.P. (BSP) was officially established with the guidance of jurists, prominent educationists, and social workers, aiming to advance education across diverse regions. The Government of Uttar Pradesh formally registered the Parishad on September 24, 1984, under file number 7231 (M) and registration number 821, endorsing its role in promoting distance education through the Open Continuing & Distance Education System, as per the model set on 24 September 1984, under file No. 7231 (M) and registration No. 821. Bhartiya Shiksha Parishad U.P. operates under the SR Act 21-1860.

Recognized as a legal autonomous and non-profit institution under the Government of India, the Parishad holds the legal authority to provide education and training in accordance with constitutional provisions. Periodically, the Parishad dispatches copies of its bylaws, prospectus, and related documents to various authorities and departments of the Government of India, State Governments, and Union Territories. The Parishad's operational scope extends throughout India, with examination centers located in major cities where semester and annual exams typically take place in May and December.

Looking ahead, the Parishad is strategizing to establish study and examination centers for international students and non-resident Indians in various parts of the world.
