Al-Karim University is a privately owned institution situated in Katihar, Bihar, India. Founded in 2018, this university is the brainchild of the Al-Karim Education Trust, which has been responsible for the establishment, maintenance, and management of Katihar Medical College and Hospital since 1987. Operating in accordance with the Bihar Private Universities Act of 2013, Al-Karim University stands as one of the pioneering institutions among the initial six private universities envisaged for Bihar's educational landscape.
Spanning across approximately 55 acres of land, Al-Karim University offers a diverse array of academic programs, encompassing 32 courses in total. These offerings include nine undergraduate programs and 23 postgraduate programs, providing students with a wide range of educational opportunities.
